Season 2024- Dear all, Referee Protocol Just to keep everyone updated on the refereeing situation, the following procedures must be adhered to viz,. ● Contact Referee Convenor, Stewart McLachlan, 01416378493 ● Qualified Personal contact referees can be used. ● Schoolboy referees who have qualified or are in process of completing qualification can be used in Divisions 5,4,3. Opposition schools must be informed and agree to the referee before the game starts. Failure to do so may result in the home team forfeiting the game. ● Schoolboy Referees who have a sibling playing in the game are not allowed to officiate. Referees are human beings and must be protected from all forms of abuse from players and parents and other spectators. Referee reports will be taken into account and games forfeited if necessary. Procedures to Follow: Please contact your opponents for Home and Away fixtures, sooner rather than later to organise games. Problems with arranging games with opposition schools (email, text or phone), should be made known to me … … e.g. Division 1 separate from Division2 ..etc,.... All communication should be via the School Football Representative in the first instance. The decisions of the GSFA Management Committee are final Yours Please make the season an enjoyable one. Team Lines 2024- If you are using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer to access the site you may find the Word file below is not opening properly. To download right click the icon and select Save target as … then open from your documents folder where you saved it. Reminder that both schools should email results after every match. Please do not save up your scores and send them as a batch, as this is time consuming to administer. Please let me know if their are any anomalies, mistakes or otherwise in any of these attachments. Please be aware that no score above 9 is ever entered. Call offs: A reminder that the directive from GSFA update #1 will be adhered to and 2 unjustified call offs will mean the forfeit of a game and points will be awarded to the other team. Referees: Please call our referee convenor, Stewart McLachlan, 0141 637 8493, in good time for your refereeing requirements. Please note that only schoolboy referees that have passed or are taking the referees' course should officiate at games. Even then they should be restricted to S1 and S2 games and be properly attired in a track suit; no school uniforms please. Bus Companies: If any school uses a bus company on a regular basis for any school activities, please let me know the Company name and contact number.
